Informal transactional e-mail

Dear Pam,

How are you? Thanks for your last e-mail. I'm glad you're well and I hope everything's fine there. Will you organise a housewarming party, too?

My housewarming party was fantastic. before the party I was a bit stressed but later on, when all the guests turned up, I really enjoyed it and started to unwind. However, after the party, it took me the whole day to tidy up. The house looked like a bomb had hit it. There were bottles everywhere and pieces of pizzas on the ceiling. It was auful! I had to clean up all the meww before mum returned home. A for the photographs, I would love the one where Tim is acting like a monkey. It's really funny! I'll put it into my photo-album.

Two days ago I found your diary in my brother's room on one of the shelves in his bookcase. I'll bring it with me when I visit you. Is it OK or would you like to have it right now?

Well, I can't wait to see your new place. While I'm there,it would be a good idea to go shopping in the great mall to see the great variety of shops and buy cheap clothes as the sales are on. Moreover, we can go sightseeing. I really want to see the Natural History Museum.

That'a all for now. Write back soon and let me know if there's something wrong about the photos.

Best wishes,

Christina

Informal letter

Dear Lorena,

I'm Christina and I'm thirteen years old. I'm from Heraklion, Crete in Greece and I'm in the second grade of Junior High School.

I live with my parents and my grandmother on the 2nd floor of a block of flats in the suburbs. Our flat is on a main street in a very noisy neighbourhood. My school is only a 15 minute walk away so I go with my friends and we chat all the time until we get there.

In my spare time I listen to music espacially pop music.Now-a-days my favourite songs are "Grenade" and "The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars. If you hear any of them write your opinion about them. Also, Iheard you are interested in swimming. Me too! The swimming pool I go to is on the outskirts of Heraklion. I go there twice a week but only fo practice. I'm not ina team. What about you?

I want an e-pal because I will have a new friend and it will be a good way to improve my skills in the English language. I would like to be an English teacher so it would definitely help me.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,

Christina
